The hack is designed to liberate retail copies of the game, where Origin is still a mandatory download. “This release is dedicated to our fans worldwide who bought this game on legal way and don’t want to install the trojan from Electronic Arts to play online,” said hack group Razor1911. Some wily hackers have had their fill, and announced recently that they can circumvent Battlefield 3‘s mandatory Origin requirement. Origin hasn’t exactly endeared itself to players since launch, what with its sleazy EULAs and enforced nature. ![]()
